EVENT COUNTDOWN:

Where it all Began

In 2022, Jessica Hamilton from Eberl Claims Solutions and Michelle Licht from ALE Solutions introduced a novel tradition at the renowned PLRB in San Antonio, TX. Their goal was to provide women attending the conference with an opportunity to engage in a health-conscious activity while cultivating meaningful connections within the industry. That inaugural year saw the collaboration of 16 remarkable women driving the initiative.

Soaring to New Heights

A year later, fueled by substantial interest and positive feedback, they, along with their teams, embarked on an even grander endeavor to amplify the vision of uniting women in the industry. The turnout surpassed expectations, with over 170 participants, creating an electrifying atmosphere.

Powerful AND Purposeful

This year's iteration is more expansive and impactful, featuring a redefined mission supported by the non-profit Girls Give Back. The event aims to empower and uplift women in the industry while also serving as a platform to raise funds to contribute to this year's chosen charity, The Spencer Education Foundation.

TO OUR SPONSORS & EVENT PLANNERS

Meet the GGB Founders

It all started when two women met in the insurance industry and developed an instant bond, becoming best friends and now call each other family. These amazing women, with similar yet unique experiences and backgrounds, quickly strengthened their friendship and began dreaming about their common goal: to empower and support women to achieve their full potential. They were determined to create positive change and decided to take action.

In 2022, Michelle and Jessica launched the first Women's Walk with 21 participants in the insurance industry and the following year had over 170! Recruiting colleagues and clients to join their cause, they started by hosting informal gatherings centered around the event, leveraging their networks and expertise to provide guidance and support to other colleagues and friends who wanted to help, grow, and make a difference in others' lives through leadership and mentorship programs.

These women were inspired by personal experiences and observations of the challenges and barriers that many girls face in their community. They were determined to create positive change and took action.
