The story of Girls Give Back begins with two remarkable women, Michelle and Jessica, who forged a deep friendship in the insurance industry. Each brought her own set of experiences and backgrounds, but they shared a common aspiration: to empower and uplift women to help them realize their full potential. Fueled by their determination to create positive change, they embarked on a transformative journey together.
In the year 2022, Michelle and Jessica, along with their dedicated teams, embarked on a mission to launch the inaugural Women's Walk event. With just 21 participants, primarily from the insurance industry, they set out to demonstrate the impact they could make on the lives of their colleagues and clients. This event catalyzed their vision and ignited the flame of their mission. The following year, the movement experienced great expansion and over 170 women participated in the walk.
The heart of their mission and vision was not just the event itself but the deeper purpose behind it. They organized informal gatherings and discussions, centering them around the cause of empowering women. These gatherings became the nucleus of their movement. Michelle and Jessica leveraged their extensive networks and expertise to offer guidance and support to colleagues, friends, and anyone eager to join their cause.
Their inspiration stemmed from personal experiences and keen observations of the challenges and barriers that many women, particularly in their industry, faced daily. They were moved by a deep desire to make a tangible difference in the lives of these women, especially through leadership and mentorship programs.

Meet the GGB Founders
It all started when two women met in the insurance industry and developed an instant bond, becoming best friends and now call each other family. These amazing women, with similar yet unique experiences and backgrounds, quickly strengthened their friendship and began dreaming about their common goal: to empower and support women to achieve their full potential. They were determined to create positive change and decided to take action.
In 2022, Michelle and Jessica launched the first Women's Walk with 21 participants in the insurance industry and the following year had over 170!
